From June 4-6 2024 our learning furniture will be used to create the Maker's Area at LEARNTEC in Karlsruhe: an area initiated by the Baden-Württemberg State Media Centre for workshops on all aspects of digital learning (dm-Arena, booth P20).

Technologies such as 3D printers, robotics and augmented reality are available to try out in the Maker's Area. They are embedded in a learning landscape that encourages visitors to get active: at various work islands, trade fair visitors can tinker independently or together in workshops - and then let their new findings sink in comfortably on sofas.

In two workshops, our colleague Thomas Müller sheds light on the potential that space harbours for future-oriented learning. In the workshop "Experiential spaces for future skills", he shows how learners can be brought from thinking to doing with the help of well thought-out spatial design (June 5, 03:15 - 04:00 pm). Under the title "Giving space to learning", he also shares his experiences how furnishing concepts inspire digital and needs-orientated education (June 4, 01:45-02:30 pm; June 6, 10:45-11:30 am). Our booth team will also be happy to advise you at any time on individual questions about learning room design.

LEARNTEC is Europe's largest event for digital education in schools, universities and companies. The more digitalised the world of work becomes, the more schools are obliged to follow. Under the overarching theme of "Schools in a culture of digitality", visitors to the trade fair can listen to numerous presentations and explore solutions in the dm Arena.
